Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026 · applies to Mobbia Global and to the website you are reading this on.
The short version
Mobbia Global needs an account name and an email address so you can log in and so we can recover your password if you lose it. Everything else it stores exists to make the game work: your character, its items, the house you live in, and the last IP address you connected from. We do not sell any of it, we do not run advertising or tracking, and we never email you except about your own account.
Mobbia Global is an unofficial game server. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with CipSoft GmbH. See the FAQ for what that means in practice.
What we store
- Account name
- The name you log in with. It is public: other players can see it in chat, in the highscores and on the character list.
- Password
- Stored as a salted hash, never as readable text. It cannot be read back, only compared, and it cannot be recovered — if you forget it, it has to be reset.
- Email address
- Used for password recovery and for notices about your own account. It is not shown publicly and is never passed to anyone else.
- Character and progress
- Your characters, their level, skills, items, money, house, guild and the history of what you have done in the world. This is the game.
- IP address
- The last address your character connected from, kept as a 32-bit number. It is used to apply server rules and to limit abuse. The same address is recorded if you get banned, together with the reason.
- Session token
- A random value that keeps you logged in for 30 days. It expires on its own and holds no personal data.
We do not collect your name, address, phone number, payment card or any government identifier, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie: the one that keeps you signed in. There is no advertising cookie, no analytics script and no third-party tracker. We are not loading Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or anything of that kind.
The footer links to our social profiles. Those are plain links with an icon drawn inline: nothing is loaded from those platforms while you are here. If you follow one, you leave this site and their own privacy policy applies from that point on.
Changing your email address
You can ask us to change the email on your account from the account page. The address you ask for is saved but stays inactive until you confirm it. The confirmation link is sent to your current address, not to the new one, so that nobody can take over an account by requesting a change they do not control.
There is a waiting period before the change can be confirmed. After that, you approve it explicitly from your current mailbox. Nothing changes on its own, and a request can be cancelled while it is still pending.
Who can see your data
People running this server can read the database in order to operate the game, fix problems and handle bans and reports. Passwords are never readable. Your email address is never shown on a public page.
Some things are public by design and not a leak: your character name, your level, your highscore position, the guild you belong to, and the house you own. That is how a shared world works.
Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account and its characters. We will remove the personal data associated with it.
What we cannot do is erase the fact that a name existed. Anything that is part of the public record of the world — highscore entries, guild history, a house that other players saw — stays, in the same way that a deleted forum post leaves a trace in someone else's quotes. If you want your characters gone before that, do it while nobody has mentioned them yet.
Children
Mobbia Global is not directed at children under 13. If you are under that age and you have an account, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly rewrite what we do with your data; if a change is significant, the account page will say so.
